The Power of Passion: Volunteer Spotlight

Christina and Kristi from Walk4NF Columbia accomplished some amazing things recently. Christina and Kristi have been the committee chairs of Walk4NF Columbia since 2019. These two lovely people are the queens of hustle. Literally everywhere they go, they share their passion and information about NF. In doing that, they have been able to score some pretty amazing things like a band to play at Walk4NF 2021, raffle prizes, and now….

BILLBOARDS! Literally getting the word out about Walk4NF and NF Midwest! These signs will be all over the Columbia and Jefferson City area from now until their walk on June 24th. Isn’t this incredible?!

This amazing show of awareness is all possible because of the power of a volunteer.  NF Midwest relies on the passion of volunteers to help with our walks and other events, fundraising, and more. We are asking for your help in making a positive impact on our community. Our upcoming Walk4NF events fast approaching, and we are in need of volunteers to help make it a success. The walks are an important event for us, as it raises money for NF Midwest, we cannot do it alone. We need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Volunteering for the walk is an excellent opportunity to give back to our community while also having fun and meeting new people. There are many different tasks that need to be done on the day of the walk, from registration and handing out t-shirts to providing support to the walkers along the route. No matter what your skills and interests are, we have a role that is perfect for you. If you can spare just a few hours of your time on the day of the walk, we would be incredibly grateful. Your help could make all the difference in ensuring that NF Midwest can continue to do important work in our community.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or would like to sign up to volunteer. Please email events@nfmidwest.org!

Together, we can make a real difference.
