NF Midwest is proud to partner with dedicated clinics and researchers who are committed to improving the lives of those affected by neurofibromatosis (NF) and schwannomatosis. We offer several ways for you to collaborate with us, from funding innovative care projects to sharing groundbreaking research with the community.

Care Impact Grants

Our Care Impact Grants provide funding of up to $10,000 for programs and projects that directly improve the care of people with NF in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Missouri. These grants, typically ranging from $3,000 to $5,000, help turn great ideas into reality, ensuring that no one has to fight NF alone.

Proposal Requirements

  • Aligns with the NF Midwest mission to improve NF care.
  • Benefits individuals within our six-state region.
  • Can be completed within one year.
  • Involves people with NF or their family members.
  • Cannot be used for basic research, equipment purchases, lobbying, or fundraising.

Eligibility

NF care institutions, individuals, and nonprofit organizations are welcome to apply. For-profit companies are not eligible.

Examples of Funded Projects

  • Travel funds to help patients access specialized care.
  • Creation of new support groups for patients or parents.
  • Programs to improve the NF knowledge of clinical staff.

Share Your Research Study
