Diana Haberkamp

Diana has two adult children and a husband with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and has been involved with the organization since 1997. She became our new executive director in 2008. Diana has a background in real estate, marketing, information technology, and more. Between her now adult children and her husband, she has dealt with many of the complications of NF1. She has a real dedication to the cause and to the families and individuals dealing with neurofibromatosis and a determination to bring a brighter future to her family and others.

Jennifer Bulandr

Jennifer brings over 20 years of nonprofit experience to NF Midwest. Her career has centered on advocacy and rare disease, with a focus on building relationships that support patients, care partners, and the medical and research communities serving them. She has dedicated her work to raising awareness, strengthening outreach, and connecting communities to information, resources, and support. Jennifer is passionate about helping families impacted by complex health conditions and is committed to making a meaningful difference through her role as Director of Care and Outreach.

Ted Woodlock

Ted Woodlock is a Certified Nonprofit Professional who brings over 25 years of nonprofit experience to NF Midwest. During his career, he has collaborated with volunteers and staff to organize fundraising events and campaigns for local nonprofits to support their mission. While he doesn’t have a connection with NF, he does bring his passion for helping others. He will be planning and supporting all the Walk4NF events, Do It Your Way (DIY) fundraising programs, and all other fundraising activities for NF Midwest. Karissa Haberkamp

Karissa has been a valued part of the NF Midwest team since September 2016, serving in a part-time role that supports many aspects of our organization’s work. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Media from Arizona State University and has also completed coursework in social work at Illinois State University. Karissa plays an important role in maintaining our social media presence and website, while also assisting with a wide range of day-to-day operations.

In addition to her professional contributions, Karissa is personally affected by NF1 and has been part of the NF community for most of her life. Her lived experience brings meaningful perspective, compassion, and understanding to her work and to the families we serve.
