Joe Booe is a Patient Education Manager (PEM) with Alexion. In this role, he supports families affected by NF1 plexiform neurofibromas by simplifying complex information and helping them feel confident in their care journey. With over 20 years in both education and pharmaceutical industries, Joe partners closely with families, advocacy groups, and healthcare teams to ensure that NF1 families receive clear, compassionate education. His passion for teaching began early in his career as an educator and continues to fuel his commitment to empowering families with knowledge in support of their rare disease journey. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and golfing when he can.
