iNFo Fair 2018: Supporting Well Siblings

NF Midwest is very excited to add a topic to our October 20th Sympoisum & iNFo Fair that has been requested in the past, but never touched upon…though it is a very important subject!

Jill Weissberg-Benchell, a pediatric psychologist at Lurie Children’s Hospital, will lead a discussion about the unique experiences siblings of children with chronic illness have. This interactive discussion will include strategies to support and care for the entire family.

Dr. Weissberg-Benchell has over 25 years’ experience working with families living with chronic illnesses and is also a professor of psychiatry at Northwestern’s Feinberg  School of Medicine.

This is a MUST see for families who have children with neurofibromatosis type 1, type 2, schwannomatosis, or any chronic disorder.
