At this time of the year, we need your reinforcement with a small donation of $10, $25, $50, or $100 to help us in our work in 2015.
NF Midwest C.A.R.E.S. and is improving lives by focusing on five areas:
Clinics
We know you want to avoid the tragedy of poor care and that you hope for a future where you can always find experienced NF care. We agree and are working on improving and identifying more clinics. In fact, we added two more clinics in the Midwest in early 2014.
We’re sure that you long for the day when everyone knows what neurofibromatosis is. Here at NF Midwest, we’re reaching out to the media, using the internet, and creating more ways to spread the word.
Research
A cure and treatments are what we ultimately need! We support local clinical trials and fund research and we continue to advocate for you in DC for federal NF research resulting in over $300 million for NF research.
Education
You can protect yourself and your loved one by knowing all you can about NF. For 24 years we’ve held an educational symposium; we’ve published three editions of the popular Understanding Neurofibromatosis booklet and our “be iNFormed” series provides easy to understand articles on the various complications of NF.
Support
In the end it’s support that gets you through the tough times! We provide free packets of information to NF families and we’re always here for you offering phone support and referrals, developing local support groups, creating and encouraging NF gatherings, and sending kids with NF to Camp New Friends.
As someone who has NF or a loved one with NF, we know that life may be especially difficult for your family.
But, this is the time of year to show your support!
Your generous donation will support these five vital areas and the services we provide to you and your loved ones.
We know it is tough for some, but EVERYONE can afford at least $10 or ask someone else to donate $10 in their name. If YOU won’t do it, who will?
