NF Midwest Awarded $20,000 Grant for Care

NF Midwest is very excited to have received a $20,000 grant from the Driven to Care Philanthropy Program. Driven to Care is a part of the Diane and Bruce Halle Foundation which is a charitable arm of Discount Tire.

The grant was awarded to pilot our Patient Navigator/Care Assistance program and was brought to us by Erin Carter, one of our members, who has a child with NF. The Patient Navigator/Care Assistance program includes a dedicated patient navigator/social worker whose primary focus is to help us make sure that No One Fights Alone. They are dedicated to working to improve clinics, identify physicians, find resources and especially make sure we are there to listen and help everyone in our Midwest community who reaches out to us for help.

We thank Erin and the wonderful women of the Illinois/Wisconsin Driven to Care regional team for giving us this honor and Discount Tire for being a company that truly cares.
