We Need Your Personal Letters for Congress

February 6th and 7th, NF Midwest staff and volunteers will be meeting with  our the offices of our Senators and Representatives to discuss funding for NF research through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) and to continue encouraging research through the National Institutes of Health.

If we want our members of Congress to take notice, they need stories from their constituents!  This can be anyone…friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc. 

Please take a moment TODAY to write a letter about how NF affects you or someone you love, and ask others (like grandparents and friends) to write also. Try to make the letters as personal as possible and include at least one small paragraph about NF research and why it’s important to you. You can find an example HERE.

Write one letter in Microsoft Word or directly in an email and include your address and full name. We’ll look up who your Representative and Senators are and get it to them or you may look them up at www.whoismyrepresentative.com. If you can, include a photo that adds impact.
