Many years ago, the amount of research on NF would barely fill a page. Today, thanks to the efforts of NF Midwest, other NF organizations and the NF community there is quite a bit of research on the neurofibromatoses. While it is still not enough, it is certainly too much to keep update on one webpage, so we have provided some research highlights here. You may find it helpful to search for abstracts on research through PUBMED. You will usually only have access to the abstracts, but may be able to get the full article from your library.
