Great Steps Teams Are
Starting on Their 2012 Donations!
Some of our Great Steps for NF teams have already started collected for next
year's walks. Jacob's Warriors (#11 Naperville) has already raised almost
$700 in honor of Jacob and 4Kate (#3 Naperville) already raised $1,300 at
their vendor night planned on November 19. Way to go! Remember events
not only raise funds for the NF fight but they are also raising awareness and
educating the public.

in solidarity and support of their loved ones in treatment, those who know
and love NF patients will show their solidarity and support by donning beauty
marks—temporary tattoos, face paint, body paint, “war paint”
The Beauty Mark Nation will be at NF walks, golf tournaments, bike rides and
even at fine dining events! They will command public attention, challenge
public perception and create a high degree of visibility for the NF cause. This
bold commitment will ultimately bring us closer to the cure for NF!

This year there are at least 6 opportunities in the Midwest to put your best
foot forward and raise awareness and funds for neurofibromatosis. So far we
have 5 physical walks and there is also the opportunity to sign-up for a
