It can be difficult for general care physicians and even specialists to stay informed about every disorder they may encounter. This includes the neurofibromatoses. To help, we NF Midwest created a special sheet called NF1 Information for Medical Professionals.

This informative sheet is designed to provide basic facts about neurofibromatosis type 1 and complications that may occur to help guide medical professionals. Anyone is welcome to print it out to bring to their doctor. It is also included in packets to new families from our region and will be available at our events and through our chapters.
