Thank you for registering for Great Steps for Neurofibromatosis. If requested, within a week you
should receive a packet with everything you need to get started. If you don't, please give us a call
at 630.945.3562 or drop an email to greatsteps@nfmidwest.org. If you'd like to get a head start,
we've put walker Information packets for every walk online at greatsteps.org.
Help make the Great Steps a phenomenal success by starting your fund-raising now by collecting
donations online through firstgiving.com/nf.
The packet you will receive will include donor forms and envelopes to send to everyone you know
asking for donations. This easy, non-invasive way works wonderfully and takes only a little effort.
While waiting for your packet you may want to start working on a letter to include in your mailing.

If you don't already have a team, consider building one by asking friends, family and co-workers to
join you. Create a friendly competition to see who raises the most and then enjoy a nice morning
walk and picnic together the day of your event. We have some team tips to get those great
thoughts flowing and also some fundraising ideas.
We know we're already asking a great deal of you, but every year we struggle to find corporate
sponsors and raffle donations for this event. Please, think of who you know that may be able to
help us out this year. We have a letter and sponsor level sheet all set for your use on our
sponsorship page. We also are in need of items for our raffle baskets. For more information click
